After getting home, I’d start frantically looking in the freezer and pantry to see what I could defrost quickly. Then, I’d look for leftovers for dinner. I rarely had a plan. And this happened pretty much every night. Ugh.  Then, for lunch, I would eat at restaurants every day, feeling like I had no other choice.  This led to choosing unhealthy and expensive options, and not really being happy.


Then, I made a change that completely transformed my family’s weeknights. I started planning out our meals, making a weekly menu every Friday for grocery shopping on Sunday. That way, I'd have everything I'd need for the next week ready to go.
